OUR FEATURED PROJECTS

2021

Two outdoor artworks at Parc des Eaux-Cachées

At the launch of the Corridor, two public art installations were conceived. The first, by Thaïla Khampo, A Past Rich in History and Lived Experience, and a second sculptural work by Alexis Vaillancourt and Lebonar made from recycled materials.

Fall 2022

Les Folies d'Automne

A neighbourhood celebration to close the summer activation of Place William-Dow, with a music program as well as workshops and food.

Summer 2022

SudBest

Programmed over three weeks in partnership with Les Survenants and the SDC-Quartiers du Canal, the event celebrated the best of the Southwest neighbourhoods with food from local merchants, outdoor music, and artistic performances.

Winter 2023

Montréal Boréal Festival

A co-production of the festival with the SDC-Quartiers du Canal to build an artistic and immersive program.

2023

(ENCADRÉ) Evenings

A night in galleries and exhibition spaces, accompanied by musical performances.

Summer 2023

LES QUAIS

A joint initiative between Parks Canada and the Corridor Culturel to animate the Peel Basins throughout the summer with five food, music, and other festivals.

2023

Les Machines

A unique musical moment that highlighted the modern jazz heritage and the heritage of Montreal’s Southwest, in partnership with Parks Canada and Le Monde Studio.

Summer 2023

CORRIDOR Festival

With more than 30 musical performances and 20 artworks installed over two weeks. In particular, the Retour à l’écurie Horse-Palace event, in collaboration with the Sud-Ouest borough.

Winter 2024

Disco nordique

As part of a new edition of Montréal Boréal with the SDC-Quartiers du Canal, the Corridor presented Disco Nordique events in a dome featuring DJ sets and concerts.

Summer 2024

Block Party on the Pointe

Organized by Pointe-à-Callière and the Corridor Culturel, the event offered family activities and a music program.

Summer 2025

Corridor Moments

Artistic installations throughout the summer, including participation in Fonderie Darling’s Place Publique, an exhibition at New City Gas, and a projection on the walls of ÉTS.

Nuit Blanche

The term cultural corridor is coined during Nuit Blanche by Judith Bauer (Committee for the Healthy Redevelopment of Griffintown) and Harvey Lev (New City Gas).
